I do enjoy these donghua's, but when jap putting out those isekai's shows close to ( hentai) like that one Harem in a dungeon, also with over 100 comments in each episode I'd say jap anime is doing just fine XD.

I doubt that'll be the case, Japanese anime might be trash atm, majority of them actually but the anime community is too strong and loyal. They'll have support for decades to come, just like Tony said, they'll be fine.

Especially since I still watch anime too, I get to enjoy both anime and donghua!! Though it seems like China is winning this year so far, I've been more interested in donghua series than the anime being put out. Hopefully Japan gets their shii together and put out some quality series, there's only a few that actually is worth watching.

I've watched many fantasy animes, especially isekai ones, the MCs are mostly super oblivious about their abilities, their surroundings, and their enemies, they are even more oblivious about romance to the extent that its unrealistic.

(I don't know if you've watched Isekai cheat magician, have you?)

But most MCs in donghua are very decisive, they make use of their full potential in terms of abilities, and they're serious when they're supposed to be serious.

what are you even talking about.. all donghuas are the same.. they are basically the "new" isekai. Not to mention that the animation is trash most of the time even if the art does look good sometimes but the movement is never fluid or sometimes their clothes are not animated at all. chinese anime are not doing good japanese have 23 mins for 1 epsiode chinese anime only like 18 minsd for 1 epsiode and some other chinese anime out there have like 5 mins epsiode

because Chinese anime sometimes remove the intro and outro but the Japanese anime have those making it 23 - 24 minutes long, Chinese anime shorten the episodes so we don't have to watch the useless parts.

Regularly uploaded content, even if it's not grade A it's enjoyable if you take it at face value and try not to think about the million plot holes. Or weekly content full of dragged out scenarios or over-blown dialogue to make up the 20 minutes also needing to disregard the million plot holes.
